I just ordered "Persona" Character Development Software from the Writers Store....

Hopefully, it will help me in developing the characters in my screenplay.

I love films. My project for 2011 is to write a screenplay. This blog will track that and also express my comments about films, in general and specific.

My Favorite Films, Updated, etc.
It's been awhile since I updated this blog.....so, a few things......my screenplay, I do think I'll stay with the title I gave it, at least for awhile, as stories do kind of take their own direction as I continue my re-writing and developing it, so my title, "It Happens!" Two people have read it and I am truly thankful to them. I must admit that I know I am not following all the rules a writer should follow, like doing some writing/re-writing of it every day, but I do write something somewhere about something, like here, every day. I WILL NOT be a typical writer....I strive for something different.....a film like none other. Screenwriting has been called the most complex craft in the world and I have found that statement pretty accurate as best I can tell. So, for me, it isn't just the writing, but the thought which goes into it, and I am not limiting my thoughts, especially what guides me with what or how much I actually write each day.
And what is guiding me a lot are the films I watch, and this year's "Silver Linings Playbook" has affected me like few others in 60+ years of being a movie fan. So, since I haven't updated my list of favorite films in awhile, I'll do it now, adding that film high up on my list, plus my favorite film of the year before, "Drive" and of the year before that, "Greenberg," also adding "Knocked Up"......
1. When Harry Met Sally
